MAGISTRATES COURTS-

   

AH writs or other process issued by,

   

or by justices of, shall be made returna-

   

ble to the next monthly meeting of said

   

court, except subpoenas and attachments

   

for witnesses,

Witnesses shall be allowed thirty -

   

three and a third cents for each days

   

attendance,

Each chief judge of, for all his servi-

   

ces as such shall be entitled to retain out

   

of the money received by him as herein-

   

before provided, $3 per day for every

   

day he shall attend the sitting of said

   

court,

Each of the other justices of, $2 pel-

   

day, for each day he attends &c.,

Snail make report to the levy court or

   

commissioners before the 1st day of June

   

annually of said attendance, and of the

   

whole amount of fees by them respective-

   

ly received,

appropriate the ballance in extra allow-

   

ance to said justices, or otherwise, at

   

discretion,

And shall in case of deficiency, levy

   

upon the county and pay any ballance.
