assault and battery, for keeping disorder-

   

ly houses or houses of ill fume, for viola-

   

tions of the act of 1817, regulating licen-

   

ces to traders, and the supplements there-

   

to, and fdr any other small offence, in the

   

same manner and effect as cases now sub-

   

mitted to them during regular terms, af-

   

ter presentment,
