the Baltimore and Ohio rail road compa-

ny of the act of this Session, Ch. 395, for

the promotion of Internal Improvement

and on being assured that a sufficient sum

with this subscription is subscribed, &c.

to complete this canal, the Treasurer is

authorised to subscribe $500,000 to the

capital stock, and pay thereon, accord-

ing to the charter, in proportion with oth-

er subscribers, from the fund provided un-

der the provision of thie act,
