Resolution in favor of the Annapolis and Potomac Canal, and so forth.
Resolved ly the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Governor and Council be, and they hereby are authorised and required, from time to time, to draw upon the treasurer of the Western Shore, for such advances of funds which they may deem to be necessary for de-fraying the expenses of the recognizance and survey authorised by resolution, number fifteen, of December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, upon the requisition of the commissioners authorised to act by said resolution, and also to draw for such sums as may be necessary to pay the costs of the survey of the route of the Annapolis and Potomac Canal.
