sioners, as their act before a judge of Baltimore county

 

court, and a copy from the record of said certificate,

 

shall have the same effect as evidence, as said original

 

certificate, and if any of said commissioners or any

appointed in their places shall decline to act, or resign,

 

or die, the Mayor may appoint other commissioners to

 

fill the vacancies so occasioned.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall have

Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.

 

CHAPTER 394.

 

An act for payment of the Journal of Accounts.

Passed June 4, 1836

WHEREAS, it appears by the journal of accounts of

 

this session, that there is due from this State, the sum

 

of eleven thousand seven hundred and forty-eight dol-

 

lars, and eighty one and a half cents: — Therefore,

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Payment directed

That the Treasurer of the Wester Shore, be, and he is

 

hereby authorised and required to pay to the several

 

persons their executors, administrators, assigns, or

 

order, or to such of them as shall apply to receive the

 

same, the several sums of money allowed to them re-

 

spectively, as they appear to he settled and ascertained

 

by the said journal of accounts, out of any unappro-

 

priated money now in the Treasury, subject to appro-

 

priation by the General Assembly.
