ing for the passage of this ordinance, at the same time

 

notifying all persons interested, to make their objec-

 

tions, if any they have, to the passage of said ordinance,

 

on or before some day to be fixed by the said Mayor

 

and City Council of Baltimore.

An act for the relief of Joseph S. Merrikin and Edward

 

A. Slicer, of the city of Baltimore, and David S.

 

Reynolds, of Washington county.

Benefit of insolvent

laws

Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the Commissioners of Insolvent Debtors, for the

 

city and county of Baltimore, and the Judges of Wash-

 

ington County Court, be and they are hereby author-

 

ised and empowered to grant to Joseph S. Merrikin,

 

Edward A. Slicer and David S. Reynolds, the benefit

 

of the several acts of Assembly, passed for the relief

 

of insolvent debtors; Provided, that the said Joseph

 

S. Merrikin, Edward A. Slicer and David S. Reynolds,

 

shall in all respects, except that of proving residence,

 

comply with the requisitions of said acts of Assembly,

 

and that they satisfy the said Commissioners and

 

Judges, that they did not come into this State with the
