ART. 9. The president and four directors shall con-

stitute a board for the transaction of business; but or-

dinary discounts may be done by the president and

three directors.

ART. 10. In case of sickness or necessary absence

of the President, his place may be supplied by a direc-

tor, to be appointed president pro tempore by the pre-

sident, or in case of his inability or omission to make
|

the appointment, by the directors for the time being.

|
ART. 11. In case of death, disqualification, resig-

miles from Savage, of the president, the directors

shall meet as soon as can be thereafter, and elect anoth-
|
 
|
er person for president for the residue of the year.

ART. 12. No director shall be entitled to receive any

shall have been allowed at a general meeting of the

stockholders.

|
ART. 13. The president and directors may call a

relative to the institution, giving at least six weeks'

notice, in one or more newspapers printed in the cities
|
 
|
of Baltimore and Annapolis, specifying in such notice

the, object or objects of such meeting; and any number

of stockholders, not less than thirty, who together
|
 
|
shall be proprietors of not less than five hundred
|
 
|
shares, may at any time apply to the president and
|
 
|
directors to call a general meeting of the stockholders,
|
 
|
giving at least sixty days' notice, in one or more of
|
 
|
the newspapers printed in the cities of Baltimore and
|
 
|
Annapolis, and specifying in such notice the object or
|
 
|
object of such meeting.

|
ART. 14. The dividend or profits of said corpora-
|

tion, or so much of the said profits as it shall be deem-

ed expedient and proper to divide, shall be declared
|
 
|
half yearly in the months of May and November, and
|

payable in the months of June and December, in every
