debts due to and from the same, of the monies deposited

and of the profits made; and shall hate a right to in-

spect such general accounts in the hooks of the hank
|

as shall relate to said statement; but nothing herein

specting the account of any private individual or indi-

viduals with the Lank, nor shall such general statement

and power of inspection be used for any other purpose

municate to the legislature a just opinion of the state of

the institution, with the grounds of such opinion.

ART. 5. The issues or notes usually denominated

bank notes which it shall be lawful lor the said cor-

poration to issue, shall not at any time exceed the
|
 
|
amount of its capital stock actually paid in by the sub-
|
 
|
scribers, nor shall any of said issues or notes be for a
|
 
|
less sum than five dollars.

ART. 6. The president and directors for the time

ART. 7. The president and each director, before he

enters upon the duties of his office, shall take the fol-

lowing oath or affirmation, as the case may may be,

partially, fathfully, diligently and honestly execute the

duties of president or director, as the case may be, of
|
 
|
the Farmers and Milter's Bank of Hagerstown, con-
|
 
|
formably to the provisions of law, and the trust repos-
|
 
|
ed in me, to the best of my skill and judgment; and the
