An act for the benefit of William Jenkins, of Anne
|
|
|
Arundel, farmer Collector of said county.
|
|
Authorised to collect
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
Maryland, That William Jenkins, former Collector of
|
|
|
Taxes for Anne Arundel county, he and he is hereby
|
|
|
authorised to collect until the first day of October,
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and thirty-six, all taxes or public
|
|
|
dues which were placed in his hands for collection, and
|
|
|
which have not been collected, in the same manner as he
|
|
|
could or might have done within the time limited by
|
|
|
law.
|
|
Must present accounts under oath
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said William
|
|
|
Jenkins, before he proceed to execute the property of
|
|
|
any person or persons for said taxes or public dues,
|
|
|
with the interest thereon, by the authority of this act,
|
