LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP, 201.

and authority to punish by fine and imprisonment, all

 

persons who shall interrupt the proceedings of the same

Case of contempt

by violence or disorder in their immediate presence,

 

and when none of the said justices shall attend at any

 

monthly meeting, or on any day during any session at

 

a monthly meeting, the court shall be considered as

 

adjourned from day to day until a meeting shall take

 

place as aforesaid, either during such session or on the

 

day for the next monthly meeting, and the justices

 

shall make entries on the minutes of the court accord-

 

ingly.

Judgments to be

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That all judgments

rendered by the said district courts shall be alien on

 

all lands and real estate of the defendant, lying with-

 

in the county wherein the same judgment was render-

 

ed, to all intents and purposes, as much as if said

 

judgment had been rendered in the county court from

 

the time when a short copy of any such judgment shall
