CHAP. 180.

CHAPTER 178.

Passed Mar. 24, 1836

An act to divorce Thomas White of the City of Balti-

 

more, from his wife Lucinda White.

Divorce

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the marriage heretofore solemnized, between

 

Thomas White of the City of Baltimore and Lucinda

 

White, be, and the same is hereby declared to be null

 

and void, and the said Thomas White and the said

 

Lucinda White, are hereby declared to be divorced a

 

vinculo matrimonnii.

 

CHAPTER 179.

Passed Mar.24,1836

An act to change the time of holding the November term

 

of Somerset County Court.

Time changed

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That from and after the passage of this act the county

 

court, for Somerset county, shall be held on the third

 

Monday in May, and the fourth Monday in November

 

for each and every year; and that all causes, pleas,

 

process and proceedings, civil and criminal, returnable

 

to or depending before the said county court, shall be

 

returnable to the third Monday in May, and the fourth

 

Monday in November, any law to the contrary not-

 

withstanding.

An act to Incorporate the trustees of Havre de Grace

 

Academy, in Harford county.

Preamble

WHEREAS, the ci izens of the town of Havre de

 

Grace, and its vicinity, in Harford county, have re-

 

cently organized a public school, and appointed the

 

the following persons as trustees, viz : Abraham J.

 

Thomas, Thomas Howes Goldsborough, William Wil-

 

liams, George Wareham, and Washington P. Chew,

 

and have prayed an act of incorporation,— Therefore:
