riod, such subscription to the capital stock of said compa-

 

ny as is necessary in the opinion of the said commissioners,

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of the

 

said Rail-road company, shall be two hundred and fifty

 

thousand dollars, in shares of fifty dollars each, which may

 

be subscribed for by any corporation, firm or individuals,

 

and as soon as two thousand shares of the said capital stock

 

shall have been subscribed, the subscribers, their succes-

 

sors and assigns, shall be, and they hereby are declared to

shall be capable in law, of purchasing, holding, selling leas-

 

ing and conveying estates, real, personal and mixed, as far

corporate name, may sue and be sued, and may have and

 

use a common seal, which they shall have power to alter and

 

renew at their pleasure, and shall have, enjoy and exercise,

 

all the powers, rights and privileges, which other corporate
bodies may lawfully do, for the purposes mentioned in this
