CHAPTER 241.

An act for the benefit cf John L. Trundle, of Montgomery

County.

Section I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
|
groes authorised
|
ryland. That it shall and may be lawful for said John L.
|
 
|
Trundle, to remove any of the negroes he now owns into,
|
 
|
and out of this state, from and to the state of Virginia, as
|
 
|
often as his own interest and that of his children may re-
|

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That no such remove of the
|
 
|
slaves of said Trundle, shall be construed to entitle them, or
|
 
|
either of them to their freedom; Provided, the said Trun-
|

dle, shall make a list of the names and ages of the slaves
|
 
|
intended to be so removed, setting forth the object of their
|
 
|
removal, and cause the same to be recorded in the clerks
|
 
|
office, of Montgomery county, before any such removal is
|
 
|
made.

CHAPTER 242.
|

And act to authorise the Commissioners of the Tax, for Cal-
|
 
|
vert County, to levy a sum or sums of money for an in-
|
 
|
crease of the salary of their Clerk.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
|
 
|
from and after the passage of this act, the commissioners
|
 
|
of the tax for Calvert county, be, and they are hereby au-
|
 
|
thorised to levy a sum of money on the assessable proper-
|
 
|
ty of said county, not exceeding two hundred dollars, for
|
 
|
the salary of their clerk, any law to the contrary notwith-
|
 
|
standing.

And act to provide for the more speedy payment of Jurors, in

Queen Anne's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That from and after the passage of this act, it shall

|
be lawful for the justices of the levy court of Queen Anne's
|
 
|
county , and they are hereby authorised and required, to
|
 
|
levy, annually, one year in advance, upon the assessable
