CHAP. 90.

district; conditioned for the faithful performance of .the trust
committed to their care by this law; which bond shall be
recorded in the office of the clerk of Washington county
court, and a certified copy thereof, under the seal of the
court, shall be competent evidence in any court of law or
equity of this State.

Copies to be evi-
dence.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That copies from the records
of the reports and accounts current aforesaid, certified by
the clerk of Washington county court, shall be competent
evidence against the said trustees and each of them respec-
tively, their respective executors and admistrators, in any
court of law or equity in this State.

 

CHAPTER 90.

Passed Feb. 4, 1832

A further supplement to an act, entitled, An act to authorise
the Governor and Council of Maryland , to appoint the
Inspectors of Flour for this state, passed at December ses-
sion eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter one hundred
and seventy four.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, by the act to which this is a supplement, it is
provided that an inspector of flour be appointed for the city
of Frederick; and it appears that further provisions are
necessary to enable the citizens of Frederick fully to enjoy
the benefits of said inspection — Therefore,

Inspectors com-
pensation.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That from and alter the passage of this act, the
inspector of flour appointed for the city of Frederick, shall
have and receive oi the owner or owners of flour by him
inspected, the sum of one cent and a half, and no more, for
each cask of flour that he shall inspect and brand, accord-
ing to the rules and regulations existing in said city,

Limits of inspec-
tion.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That the inspection district of
the inspector appointed for the city of Frederick, shall em-
brace the corporation limits of said city as now defined, and
that all rules and regulations now in force in said city in
regard to the inspection of flour, and not repealed or alter-
ed by this act, do and the same are hereby declared to ex-
tend to every part of the said inspection district: Provided,
That nothing in said rules and regulations contained, shall
be construed to authorise any inspector of flour to inspect
the same in or at any mill within said district

Prohibited to pur-
chase.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That no inspector of flour
shall purchase directly or indirectly, any flour by him con-
