Any person who shall ride,
drive, &c any horse or team,
carnage. &c. upon any of the
side-walks. &c. to forfeit and pay
for every offence the sum of one
dollars, to be recovered as other
small debts, &c. one half to be
paid by the justice of the peace
to the informer; justices of the
peace and constables entitled to
the same fees as in the cases of
recovery of small debts, and up-
on judgments no supersedeas al-
lowed; not to extend to any per-
son or persons, their servants, &c.
passing across said side walks
with their horses, &c. at the pro-
perand necessary places in going
and returning in the pursuit of
their necessary business; to com-
mence and take effect on the first
day of July eighteen hundred

The trustees of the Baltimore
College authorised fo execute a
deed of transfer to the Universi-
ty of Maryland, of all the pro-
perty, estate and effects, of the
corporation, upon certain condi-
tions, &c. and upon the execution
and recording of said deed of
transfer in Baltimore county, the
said corporation of Baltimore
College shail be and become from
