The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county, to settle the accounts
of Thomas Perry and others,

With the following amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend title by adding: "And to provide for the expenses
and defense of the Registers and Judges of the last election,
indicted in the same Court."

Add after section 1:

"Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That said Commissioners, be
and they are hereby authorized, in their discretion, to pay or
levy for the expense and defense of the Registers and Judges
