Which was read.
Mr. Steiner reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act relating to the mileage of
witnesses appearing before the Circuit Court for Frederick
county,

With the following amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 5, add after the word "mileage," the words
"for coming to the said Court."

Section 1, line 8, strike out all after the word "mileage,"
and add the following : ''For returning from said Court to
his or her residence, nor more than once in each case at any
one term, nor in more than one case, if he shall attend upon
more than one during the same absence from home."

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill entitled an Act relating to Highways and
Bridges, in the proposed extended limits of Baltimore city.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. McCulloh, from the Committee on Pensions, reported
favorably

The House bill entitled an Act authorizing the Comptroller
to settle the claims for pensions of Elizabeth E. Shanks and
Mary Cullumber, of St. Mary's county.

Which was read the second time.

Also, unfavorable

The House bill entitled au Act to pay Elizabeth Dorsey, of
Frederick county, an annual pension during her natural life.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Williams, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more, Towsontown, Dulaney's Valley and Delta Narrow
Guage Rail Road Company.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. McCulloh; from the Committee on Pensions, reported
unfavorably
