Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment:

Strike out from the word "line," in the 19th section, to
the word "counties," at the end of the 21st line, and insert:
"At low-water mark on the south shore of the Patapsco, and
running thence for the southern boundary, with the south
shore of the said river at low-water mark, to the eastern
boundary of the Marine Hospital property, and thence by a
straight line to the south terminus of the first herein des-
cribed line, in the channel of the Patapsco.''

Which was adopted.

Mr. Tuck submittted the following amendment:

"That nothing in this Act contained, shall be held to re-
peal, or in any manner affect or interfere with the provisions
of the Act, of 1870, chapter 99, entitled an Act to lay off
streets, in Baltimore county, adjoining Baltimore city, aad
to repeal certain Acts inconsistent therewith, and the Acts of
1872, chapter 78, entitled a supplement thereto, and chapter
387, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments
part thereof, and all other supplements and amendments
thereto, or to invalidate any proceedings that may have been
taken, or may bo ponding, or may hereafter be taken under
the provisions of said Acts, or any supplements thereto, but
the said Acts and supplements, and every part thereof, and
including all the right of appeal and other right created and
guaranteed thereby, and all offices, duties and powers not,
existing and excercised, or hereafter to exist, and be exercised
under and according to the provisions of said Acts and sup-
plements, shall continue in full force and effect until the next
Session of the Legislature, when, if the said annexation shall
have been effected, and required by this Act, proper provision
shall be made by the Legislature tor distributing equally be-
tween Baltimore county and the city of Baltimore, the ex-
pense which may have hitherto and hereafter be incurred by
the County Commissioners and the Street Commissioners of
Baltimore county, in the execution of the aforesaid Acts and
supplements thereto.''

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment, to the
amendment:

Strike out all after the word "Legislature," on 4th line of
3rd page, to the bottom of the page, and insert the following ;
And all outlay and expenses that have been incurred, or
