850 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 31,

Being on third reading,

Mr. Spencer submitted the following amendments :

Section 1, line 5, amend by striking out after the word
"of," the word ''three," and insert in lieu thereof the word
"two;" and on the same line, after the word "thousand,"
strike out the words "three hundred and seventy-five."

Section 2, line 1, after the word "of," strike out the word
"three," and insert in lieu thereof the word "two;" and in
line 2, of same section, strike out the words "three hundred
and seventy-five."

Section 2, line 5, after the word "stationery," strike out
the word "one" and insert the word "six," and on the same
line, after the word "additional," strike out the word
"student," and insert the word "students;" and on same
line, after the word "from," strike out the words "each of."

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays as follows :

Being on third reading,

Mr. Blake submitted the following amendment:
Strike out "seventy-three," and insert "eighty."
Which was rejected.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
