On motion by Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted to Messrs. McCulloh, Getty and Clag-
gett, to report a bill entitled an Act to provide for making
a survey of the counties of Allegany and Garrett, for the pur-
pose of ascertaining the number of square miles each contains.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to re-
port a bill to punish the defacement and erasure of names of
owners from peach or other fruit boxes or crates.

Also,

Leave to the Committee on Printing to report a bill to pro-
vide for the printing of the next and subsequent Sessions of
the Legislature.

On motion by Mr. Suit,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings
to report a bill to repeal section 192 of chapter 154 of the Act
of 1872, entitled an Act to amend the Public Local Laws of
Prince George's county, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to repeal section 5 of chapter 381 of the
Acts of 1872, relating to hawks and owls, of Prince George's
comity.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, to report a bill to protect the increase
and growth of fish and terrapins.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which had
been recommitted

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Cam-
bridge Female Seminary,
