Mr. Longwell, from a Select Committee. reported

The Seriate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 46 (as
amended by chapter 255 of the Acts of the General Assembly
passed at January Session, 1872,) 47, 49 and 50 (as amended
by chapter 384 of the Acts of the General Assembly passed
at January Session, 1872,) 60, 61 and 74 of Article LXXXI.
of the Code of Public General Laws entitled "Revenues and
Taxes," in so far a» the same may relate to Carroll county,
and to enact additional sections to Article VII. of the Code of
Public Local Lava, entitled Carroll County." sub-title "State
and County Taxes."

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Joel Warner
and David Ziegler, partners trading under the name and
firm of Warner & Ziegler, the sum of one hundred and
twenty dollars, money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact sec-
tion 2 of Article XLV. of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Husband and Wife." as amended by chapter 270
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
January Session, 1872.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal au Act entitled
an Act to add an additional section to Article XXIX. of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled. "Courts," providing
for rendering judgments for the damages awarded by the
jury upon the ratification of inquisitions for condemning lands,
and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to add addi-
tional sections to the said Article of the Code.
