The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 160,
161, 171, 172, 175 and 176 of Article IV. of the Maryland
Code of Public Local Laws, sub-title "Courts," &c.

On motion by Mr. Davis,

Leave was granted to report a bill entitled an Act to estab-
lish and regulate the Maryland Insane Asylum.

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Claggett, Crawford and
Phelps to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16
of the Act passed at December Session, 1845, chapter 37, en-
titled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company
of Washington county, and amend and re-enact the said 16th
section and to repeal the 10th section of the Act passed at
the January Session, 1870, chapter 439, entitled an Act to
amend an Act passed at December Session, 1845, chapter 37,
entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company
of Washington county, and the several Acts supplementary
thereto, and amendatory thereof, and to amend and re-enact
the said 10th section.

Mr. Davis, from a Select Committee, reported

tion to Article III. of Code of Public Local Laws, title "Bal-
timore county."
