The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Thomas Clag-
gett, Charles Claggett, Woodberry Wheeler, Attorney of
Wm. De Craux and Isaacs Scaggs certain monies erroneously
paid into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time.

Also, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to compensate Henry A.
Silver for services in the discharge of the duties of State
Librarian from Februray 2nd to April 5th, 1870.

Which was read the first time.
Also, reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Mary Cooke
Executrix of George Cooke, surviving partner of the late
Wm. Cooke and sons for the benefit of Dr. Richard S.
Stewart, James Cheston and others, monies erroneously paid
by them to Inspectors of Tobacco in Baltimore city, for
outage and storage.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Stevens, form the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to increase the facilities of
the Grain Market of the State, by giving effect and negotia-
bility to Elevator receipts.

Mr. Brattan, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of John
H. Yingling, late of the city of Westminster, deceased, to
the Trustees of the Methodist Protestant Church of the city
of Westminster, Carroll county, in the State of Maryland.

The Senate bill entitled an Act in relation to Public Roads
in Cecil county, and to repeal all Acts or parts of Acts in-
consistent With the provisions of this Act,
