tee on Finance.

Also delivered

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 82 of
Article XX. of the Public Local Laws, relating to Talbot
county, sub-title 'Elections,' and section 93 of said Article,
sub-title 'Justices of the Peace and Constables,' and to re-
enact the same with amendments."

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Lloyd, Walsh and McCulloh.

Also delivered

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal Article XIV.,
section 114 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Kent
County,' sub-title 'Justices of the Peace and Constables,'
and re-enact the same with an amendment."

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
"Spencer, Aydelott and Earle.

Also returned

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to prevent Stock
running at large in Quantico, Wicomico county."

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays."

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article LXXV. of the Code of Public General Laws, allow-
ing the striking out of an order for removal after the same
has been passed."

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments :"

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 14, add the following : " And. provided fur-
ther, that no such motion to strike out an order for removal
shall be entertained, unless the same shall be made in time
to admit of the trial of the cause at the same term of Court
at which said order for removal was passed."

Add section 2 as follows : "And be it further enacted, That
in all civil cases where an order for removal shall have been
passed in any cause, the party upon whose motion said order
was passed, shall pay or return to the Clerk of the Court in
which said cause was pending, at the time of said order for
removal, the cost of the record in said case, within sixty days
after the passage of such order, and shall cause the said
record to be transmitted to the Court, to which the same was
