Mr. McCulloh presented the petition of Archibald Mc-
Donald and seventy-five other residents of Allegany county,
in favor of a repeal of the present Attachment Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi-
cial Proceedings.

The hour of 12 o'clock having arrived,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of the order of
the day, being

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal, amend and re-
enact the Act of 1868, relating to Insurance Brokers."

Said bill having been returned by the Governor without
his approval on February 17th, considered on the 20th inst.,
and postponed to this day.

The question being,

"Shall this bill pass notwithstanding the objections of the
Governor?"

It was determined in the negative by yeas and nays as
follows;
