to pay over to the said trustees (unless thereto spe-

cially authorized by said conference) the interest and

income aforesaid, and then and thereupon, the said

quired to pay over and appropriate said funds,

whether principal or interest, or both, for such pur-

pose of education, and under such rules, regulations

prescribe and ordain; and to that end the said cor-

poration shall be authorized to appoint managers, or

trustees in place of the trustees constituting said cor-

poration, who shall, to every effect, be deemed and

have as full power an privilege, and be subject to
|

the same regulations and rules, as. the corporation

aforesaid.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

AN ACT to refund to Chas. Clagget, Jas. T. Perkine,

Assignee of the National Bank of Baltimore, and to

C. C. and R. H. Hyatt, for the benefit of R. D. Bur-
|
 
|
roughs, W. J. Beall, Wm. J. Berry and others ; and
|
 
|
to Daniel Clark, and Daniel Clark, Adminis-
|
 
|
trator of William D. Clark, moneys erroneously
|
 
|
paid by them to tobacco inspectors in Baltimore
|
 
|
city for outage and storage.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
Appropriation.
|
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be
|
 
|
and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue
|
 
|
his warrant upon the Treasurer in favor of Charles
|
 
|
Claggett for the sum of five hundred and ninety-four
|
 
|
dollars and twenty-five cents ; to James T. Perkins,
|
 
|
Assignee of the National Bank of Baltimore, the
|
 
|
sum of three hundred and ten dollars and ninety-
|
|
|
