Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.
On motion by Mr. Stevens, it was
Ordered, That the use of the Senate Chamber be granted
to the representatives of the Baltimore City Passenger Rail-
way Company, on Thursday night, February 26th, for the
purpose of descussing before the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings, the legal questions in relation to their memorial,
heretofore presented.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate 'the National Co-operative Business
Agency Company,' chapter 199, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed March 31st, 1870, and to
change the name and title thereof, to that of the 'Natinal
Business Adjuster Company/ to reduce the capital stock
thereof, and to revise, re-enact and continue in force the pro-
visions of said Act."
Also,
Leave to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings to in-
tfoduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend, and re-enact section
2, of Article XLV. of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled 'Husband and Wife,' as amended by chapter 270, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
January Session, 1872."
Also,
Leave to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings to intro-
duce a bill entitled ''An Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act
to add an additional section to Article XXIX. of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled 'Courts' providing for render-
ing judgment for the damages awarded by the jury upon the
ratification of inquistions for condemning lands and to re-
enact the same with amendments and to add additional sec-
tions to the said Article of the Code."

On motion by Mr. Stevens,
The said bill was postponed for fifteen minutes,
Mr. Stevens moved to take up the House bill relative to a
repeal of the attachment law.
