AN ACT to repeal an act passed at the January

session, eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter

fifty-nine, entitled an act to direct the Attorney
|
 
|
General of the State to cause the State of Mary-
|
 
|
land to be made a party in a cause now pending
|
 
|
in the Circuit Court of Baltimore city, entitled the
|
 
|
" Commonwealth of Virginia versus the Chesa-
|
 
|
peake and Ohio Canal Company," and others.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the act' passed at the January ses-

" mortgages," and to re-enact the same with

amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section twelve, of article sixty-four,
|

gages," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
|
 
|
enacted so as to read as follows :
