CHAPTER 454.

AN ACT to add a section to article twenty of the
|
 
|
Public Local Laws for Talbot county.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

Maryland, That the following section be added to
|
section.
|
article twenty of the Public Local Laws for Talbot
|
 
|
county :
|
 
|
SEC. — The commissioners of the town of Easton
|

are hereby authorized and directed to close up such

part of Hanson street, in said town, as lies between

the cemeteries of the Protestant Episcopal Church
|

and the Methodist Episcopal Church, and such part
|

of an alley known as Grave alley or Gravel alley, as
|
 
|
lies immediately north of said cemeteries, and such
|
 
|
part of a street known as Short street, south of the
|
 
|
Protestant Episcopal cemetery, ap may be necessary
|
 
|
to straighten lines, whenever the commissioners of
|
 
|
said town are duly notified that the trustees of the
|
 
|
proposed public cemetery have organized themselves
|
 
|
as a body corporate, in accordance with the provisions
|
 
|
of the Code of Public General Laws of this State;
|
 
|
and the parts of said streets and alley above referred
|
 
|
to, together with the cemeteries now belonging to
|
 
|
the above churches, shall thereafter be embraced and
|
 
|
included within the bounds and be used for all the
|
