SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the board of presi-

 

dent and directors shall have power to appoint a

to establish and carry on within said city, and also

 

to supply with light any dwelling house or other

any individual or individuals, or corporation, ad-

 

jacent to any such street, square, lane or alley in

 

and along which the said pipes shall be so laid, and

 

the same, from time to time repair, renew or remove;

any manner injure or displace any of the pipes laid

 

or to be laid, for the purpose of supplying water to

 

said city, or any of the pipes then laid by the Gas-

 

light Company of Baltimore, or the People's Gas
