LAWS OF MARYLAND.

is the wish and desire of the said representatives that

 

the said premises be maintained as a graveyard for

 

all time, and that it may be so kept it is deemed best

 

to convey the same to some church or religious de-

 

nomination.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

select or elect.

Maryland, That Joshua F. Cockey, of Baltimore

 

county, executor of Joshua F. Cockey, deceased,

 

who held in trust the graveyard and premises above

 

refered to, be and he is hereby authorized and em-

 

powered to select or elect any one church or relig-

 

ious denomination who will accept the said grave-

 

yard and premises, subject to such conditions as he

 

shall prescribe, to convey all the right, title and

 

claim in and to the same of the said Joshua F.

 

Cockey, deceased, as trustee.

In force

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 413.

 

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the

 

purpose of removing the remains of Maryland

 

Soldiers of the late Confederate States' Army, and

 

interring them at Loudoun Park Cemetery, and

 

enclosing and arranging the burial-lot.

Appropriation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the sum of five thousand dollars shall

 

be paid out of any money in the Treasury, not other-

 

wise appropriated, to Frederick M. Colston, Treas-

 

urer of the Society of the Army and Navy of the

 

Confederate States, in the State of Maryland, " to

 

be expended, in the discretion of the said society, in
