CHAPTER 399.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the

|
claim of Thomas C. Basshor and Company, for
|
 
|
work done and materials furnished in the room
|
 
|
of the President of the Senate.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be
|
 
|
and he is hereby requested and directed to issue his
|

Basshor and Company, three hundred and thirty-

seven dollars and three cents, for work done and

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|

effect from the date of its passage.
|

CHAPTER 400.

AN ACT to repeal section thirty-two, of article
|
 
|
fifty-six, of the Code of Public General Laws,
|
 
|
entitled " licenses," sub-title " foreign corporations
|
 
|
and companies," and to re-enact the same with
|
 
|
amendments.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

|
Maryland, That section thirty-two, of article fifty-six,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled " li-
|

re-enacted.

enacted to read as follows :

32. Every insurance company, including individuals,
