CHAPTER 290.

 

AN ACT to refund to Mary Cook, executrix of

 

George Cook, surviving partner of the late Wil-

 

liam Cook and Sons; for the benefit of Dr. Rich-

 

ard S. Stewart, James Cheston and others, moneys

 

erroneously paid by them to Inspectors of Tobacco

 

in Baltimore city, for outage and storage.

Authorized to

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

issue warrant

Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be

 

and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue his

 

warrant upon the Treasurer in favor of Mary Cook,

 

executrix of George Cook, surviving partner of the

 

late William Cook and Sons, for the benefit of the

 

following persons, to wit : for Dr. Richard S. Stewart

 

for the sum of two hundred and sixteen dollars; for

 

James Cheston for the sum of fifty dollars and eighty
cents ; for the estate of the late Charles H. Carter for

 

the sum of eighty-nine dollars; for Oden Bowie for

For benefit of

the sum of two hundred and ten dollars and seventy

 

cents ; for the estate of W. D. Bowie for the sum of

 

two hundred and ninety-eight dollars and ten cents;

 

for W. D. Clark for the sum of eighty-one dollars;

 

for the estate of the late John Contee for the sum of

 

forty-eight dollars and ten cents; for R. S. Hill for

 

th.e sum of sixty-seven dollars and fifty cents; for F.

 

M. Hall for the sum of ninety-two dollars and forty

 

cents ; for M. Murray for the sum of seventeen dol-

 

lars and fifty cents ; for L. Mackall for the sum of

 

forty-two dollars and sixty-cents; for J. B. Mulliken
