of the time, place and object of such meeting, by pub-
lication in at least two of the daily papers of the
City of Baltimore.

CHAPTER 166.

 

AN ACT to authorize and require the Surveyor of

 

Washington county, to survey all public roads,

 

hereafter to be opened by the County Commis-

 

sioners, and to make a record thereof, and to make

 

a record of all the public roads heretofore opened

 

by the County Commissioners or used as public

 

roads by the public.

To survey

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

public roads

Maryland, That hereafter it shall be the duty of the

 

County Surveyor or his authorized deputy, to survey

 

all public roads opened by the County Commissioners

 

of Washington county, and to record the same in the
book mentioned in the second section of this act.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty

sioners,) for the use of the County Commissioners

 

aforesaid, in which said book, the public roads here-

 

tofore opened by said commissioners, or which have

said road, the number and kind of bridges, the

 

nature of ground over which said roads pass, the

 

streams they cross and such other information as

 

may be deemed useful, together with an estimate of

 

the cost of keeping said roads in repair.
