Ordered, That when the Senate adjourn, it stand adjourned

On motion by Mr. Fields, it was

Ordered, That the reporter, Mr. Fox, be allowed $15 worth
of postage-stamps.

Mr. Brewer, called up

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 78 of
Article XV. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title 'Montgomery county,' entitle 'Rockville,' and to re-enact
the same with amendment,"

When Mr. Brewer submitted the following amendments:

Amend, by striking out after "other county property" in
line 6 to the word "and" in 7th line.

Amend, by adding "Section 2 and be it enacted, that this
Act shall take effect from the date of its passage."

Which were adopted.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to empower the Frederick
and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road Company, to lease its
road,"

Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment:

Insert "Line" between Pennsylvania and "Rail" in line 2.

Section 1, strike out "majority of the stockholders," in
line 10, and insert "the stockholders holding the majority of
stock."
