The bill entitled an Act ceding to the United States of
America the jurisdiction over the lands in Prince George's
county, owned by the United States, and constituting the
site of Fort Washington, and also over lands that may here-
after be conveyed to the United States, adjoining thereto, for
military and naval purposes, and which are herein described.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to protect fish in the Great Gun-
powder River and its tributaries, within the limits of Balti-
more county.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the payment of bal-
ance due for sewerage and for furnishing water-pipes for the
State House and Governor's Mansion.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Chesa-
peake and Ohio Canal Company, and to repeal so much of the
Act passed March 22d, 1833, entitled an Act to provide for the
continuation of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road to Harper's
Ferry and for other purposes, as prohibits the Chesapeake
and Ohio Canal Company from selling or disposing of any of
the surplus waters of said Can al; to be applied anywhere with-
in the State to the manufacture of any species or description
of grain, &c.

Company.

The bill entitled an Act for the relief of Biscoe Adams, one
of the sureties on the official bond of Robert J. Bean, former
Collector of State taxes.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Levin L. Waters, William J. Aydelott and Isaac D.
Jones, balance of compensation and expenses due to them re-
spectively as Commissioners of this State, to adjust the bound-
ary line between the States of Virginia and Maryland.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore City to subscribe to the capital stock of
