NIGHT SESSION.

MONDAY, April 6—8 o'clock, P. M.
The House met.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members:

Messrs. Hines, (Speaker,) Bond, Colton, Merritt, Henkle,
Bird. Lancaster, Hawkins, Keech, Buchanan, Merryman,
Valliant, Sudler, Coulbourn, Duer, Hodson, Turner, of
Cecil, Mackey, Davis, Etchison, Thompson, Kemp, Koons,
Lee, Dawson, Williams, McCosker, T. H. Hamilton, Cooper,
C. E. Hamilton, McWilliams, Foster, Staylor, Stewart, of
Baltimore city, McAleese, Gill, Hart, Loane, Greenfield,
McColgan, Harig, Joyce, Groh, Fenton, Freaner, Stake,
Clark, Watkins, Wack, Park, Brace, Waters, Brown,
Stewart, of Howard, Leonard, Bedsworth—56.

Mr. Freaner, Chairman of the Committee on Federal Re-
lations, to whom had been referred,

The Joint Resolutions submitted by Mr Koons, relative to
the Centennial Anniversary, reported that said Committee
deemed it inexpedient to take any action on said Resolutions
at the present session.

The report was adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate returned

The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Li-
censes," sub-title "'Brokers," and to repeal the 17th section
of said Article, and to re-enact said 17th section with amend-
ments, requiring pawn-brokers to pay a State license, with
proposed amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Add after the word "additional," in line 2, section 1, the
word "sub."

Add after the word "to," in same line, the words "sec-
tion 11, of."

Add after the words "section 11," the words" "sub-sec-
tion 2."

Which were concurred in.
