The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following
bill,

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays :"

A bill entitled an Act to add to section 28, of Article 56,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses,"
sub-title "Foreign Corporations' and Companies," the fol-
lowing sub-section.

Which was reada first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioner of the Land Office to have prepared for the use of the
Land Office, a map of those portions of Garrett and Allegany
counties, which contain the four thousand and odd fifty acre
lots granted by the State of Maryland to the officers and
soldiers of the war of the Revolution, with the adjoining
tracts of land which have been from time to time sold by the
State, showing the topography and characteristics of said
county, its rivers, roads and principal settlements, and indi-
cating the principal escheats since their location,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
