Said bill was then sent to the Senate.
Mr. Koons submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be re-
quested to report the Resolutions in relation to the word
"white," in the Constitution of this State, which were re-
ferred to them during the morning session, to-morrow, if not
incompatible with their other duties.

Which was adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

The bill entitled an Act ceding to the United States of
America the jurisdiction over the lands in Prince George's
county, owned by the United States, and constituting the
siet of Fort Washington, and also over lands that may here-
after be conveyed to the United States, adjoining thereto, for
military and naval purposes, and which are herein described.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills,
Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the collection of
taxes upon personal property not included in the general as-
sessment.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 195, of chapter 172, of the Acts of
1872, entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
81, of the Code of Public General Laws of this State, entitled
"Revenue and Taxes," under the sub-title "National
Banks."

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Ways and Means.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 87, of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled "Sheep," and enact the
following in lieu thereof.
