Mr. Seth demanded a call of the House.

No quorum being present,
On motion of Mr. Seth,

The Sergeant-at-Arms was ordered to notify all the absent
members now in the city to give their attendance, and to
bring them before the bar of the House.

After an absence of some time, the Sergeant-at-Arms re-
turned, and reported that he had notified all the absent mem-
bers now in the city to give their attendance, and had brought
them before the bar of the House.

On motion of Mr. Leonard,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed
with.

The House then resumed the consideration of the Militia
Bill.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
