Mr. Lancaster submitted the following amendment:

Section 12, line 1, strike out the word "confine," and in-
sert the words "receive for confinement."

Which was adopted.

Mr. McColgan submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 12, lines 3 and 4, strike out all from the word
"shall," in line 3, to the word "examine," in line 4.

Which was adopted.

Section 13, line 1, insert the word "wilfully" after the

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of Article 60,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Marriages,"
