The bill entitled an Act authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county to invest a certain amount of
money belonging to said county,

Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Keech submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Insert after the words "County Commissioners," in the 1st
line of section 1, as follows: "if in the exercise of a wise and
sound discretion on their part, and looking to the best inter-
ests of all the people of Baltimore county, they shall think it
advisable to do so."

The amendment was adopted.
