On motion of Mr. Brace, (the rules being suspended,)
Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to introduce
a bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to the
charter of the City of Cumberland, authorizing the Mayor
and Council of Cumberland to purchase or condemn addi-
tional ground for the use of said city for market-house and
station-house.
Mr. Brace, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
