1140 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 27,

Mr. Leonard, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
farorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to empower A. J. Horsey,
Vincent Moore and T. J. Turpin, of Wicomico county, to cut
a ditch or canal through the marsh from Quantico Creek to
Nanticoke River, in said county.

Said bill was then read a second time.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the payment of bal-
ance due for sewerage and for furnishing water-pipes for the
State House and Governor's Mansion,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as

follows :
