The bill entitled an Act to add sub-sections to Article 2,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "Annapolis," to provide a Board of Police
Commissioners for Annapolis city,

Being upon a third reading,

Mr. Henkle (by unanimous consent) submitted the fol-
lowing amendments:

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Sub-section A, strike out the words "the Judges of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County," and insert "the
Governor of the State;" line 7, strike out the word "they,"
and insert "he;" at the end of sub-section A, strike out the
words "the said Judges," and insert "the Governor."

The proposed amendments were adopted, and the bill, as
amended, read a third time and rejected (for want of a con-
stitutional majority) by yeas and nays, as follows:
