than imperfectly rendered, and yet, unwilling to lose to the
youth of our State, the advantage of the lessons inculcated by
his life. Your Joint Committee have concluded, respeclfully,
to request your Honorable Bodies to continue its functions,
that at the next session of the General Assembly, the pur-
poses of these Joint Resolutions may be executed in a proper
and befitting manner.

A bill entitled "An Act to refund to Jacob T. Mangus, of
Washington county, the sum of forty dollars, paid by him
into the Treasury, on or about the 22nd day of July, in the
year 1871,"
