JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 20,

passed this session, entitled au Act to limit the hours of
labor in this State, for all minors under sixteen years of age,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 193, of the Acts
pased at January session, 1S72, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, so that oysters sold in the shell at Balti-
more, Crisfield and at all packing establishments, shall be
measured in an iron measure,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Seth, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate bill
entitled an Act to provide for the payment of a certain sum
of money to Charles H. Gibson, State's Attorney for Talbot
county, for professional services rendered the State.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

Said bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as Follows:
