AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

To section 4, add the following : "And in all cases where
removals shall take place under this Act, the Court may
direct the transfer of the original papers in such cases to the
Circuit Court for Garrett county, instead of causing a copy of
the record to be so transmitted."

The proposed amendment was adopted, and the bill, as
amended, passed by yeas and nays, as follows:

Ordered, That the order of last week, to hold night ses-
sions on Local Bills during this week, be suspended as far as it
applies to this (Wednesday) night ; and when the House ad-
journs, it stand adjourned to 11 o'clock, A. M., to-morrow.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Bird, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to repeal section 1, Article 35, Code of Public
General Laws, entitled "Elections," and re-enact the same
with amendments.

Said bill being upon a third reading,
