The House resumed the consideration of the unfinished
business of the morning session,

Being,

The bill entitled an Act to suppress intemperance, and
to permit the voters of the City of Baltimore, and of each
county in the State of Maryland, to vote on the question of
granting licenses to sell intoxicating liquors.

Said bill being upon a second reading.
