Commissioners of Cecil county to pay the Sheriff of said
county a per diem for attendance in person or by deputy,
upon the Court, and such further compensation for other
services as in their discretion may seem to them right and
proper.

Mr. Lee, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported with-
out amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 12, of
Article 25, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Har-
ford County," sub-title "Almshouse," and re-enact the
same with amendments,

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Merrill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Worcester county to copy the General
Index to Land Records in his office, from 1742 to 1844.

Commissioners of Carroll county to levy for such sum of
